Care must be taken when adding pots to smoker as gases in the can ignite when the lid is opened.  We try to add all the pots that will go into a smoker before putting the lid on to prevent the incident shown above.

If more than one person is drawing pots from a kiln coordination is the key to prevent getting burned.
